Are you interested in enhancing Operational Resilience and Business Continuity for the Bank?
The Head of Group Product and Advice (GPA) is the executive manager and Group Framework Owner (GFO) for Business Continuity and has a group function role that includes subsidiaries.
The Business Continuity Senior Specialist is responsible for creating and managing a comprehensive business continuity strategy and program for the entire organization, including subsidiaries. They also support the Group Framework Owner (Head of GPA) in fulfilling their obligations towards the Group Executive Committee (GEC) and the Board of Directors(BoD)
In Swedbank you have the opportunity to:
- Be part of a team of BCM-professionals who work with senior management in all lines of business to coordinate business continuity management activities.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of the enterprise-wide business continuity management function including development of steering documents, tools and instructional guides.
- Responsible for coordinating the work related to the unit’s document ownership of the CEO Instruction on Business Continuity Management.
- Continuity development of corporate policy, standards, and guidelines.
- Develop and implement efficient and effective quality assurance process (Quality Management System to operate, monitor, review, maintain and improve the quality of capabilities)
- In a relationship management capacity, provides guidance and direction to all Swedbank functions to ensure their business continuity management processes are in accordance with the Banks enterprise-wide business continuity management program and quality standards.
- Ensures appropriate integration of requirements and information obtained from various sources, including external regulators
- Subject matter expert for business continuity management.
- Develop and deliver BCM trainings and awareness program
- Participates in external business continuity management organizations and keep abreast of industry best practices and trends.
What is needed in this role:
- Experience from Business Continuity Management, governance framework, regulations (e.g. Finansinspektionen’s Regulations and General Guidelines regarding the management of operational risks, EBA guidelines etc.) and implementing new regulatory standards
- Strong knowledge of business continuity best practices and operational risk management including in depth knowledge of international BCM standards,
- Expertise in stakeholder management to manage and engage with stakeholders across a large corporation organization.
- Strong business knowledge and good understanding on how bank business functions operate
- Understand all aspects of the Bank’s organizational structure and critical products and services,
- Solid knowledge of Operations and IT Audit methodology,
- A consultative and a problem-solving way of working and excellent cooperation skills,
- A proven analytical capacity,
- To have an open team-player mindset,
- Structured way of working and interest in continuous improvements,
- Excellent communication skills in Swedish and English, both in written and spoken form.
