Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.

Group Risk Management is part of the Group Governance, Risk and Compliance function. We are currently looking for a Business Continuity Manager to support Scania Group in our ambitions to ensure continuity and resilience within our processes including commercial segment that is selling our products and services, the financial functions providing finance and insurance products to Scania’s customers, Research and Development  where our services and products are developed as well as within Production and Logistics, Sales and Marketing and all other areas within Scania businesses.  The position is located at the Scania Headquarters in Södertälje, Sweden.

The position supports the global Scania organisation in managing continuity by providing knowledge in terms of policies, guidelines, trainings and reporting and by assisting the organisation in designing structures and processes to protect and create value and to ensure our critical business processes.

This role will give the right candidate the possibility to influence and develop the organisation and offer the unique opportunity to address continuity and resilience from a holistic perspective in all Scania activities throughout the world.

You will work closely with risk management, corporate security as well as the function for corporate insurance.

Main responsibilities


• Develop and maintain the Scania framework/concept for Business Continuity Management (BCM) in adherence to regulatory, customer and owner requirements.
• Assist/support the Scania Group with the implementation of the BCM framework/concept so that the organisation is appropriately prepared for, and can respond to unexpected disruptions without any non-acceptable disturbances.
• Follow-up, report and provide feedback to different levels within the Scania Group on the implementation of BCM, results and challenges.
• Develop and conduct trainings within BCM to the Scania Group.
• Work together with e.g. risk management, corporate security and corporate insurance to evolve collaboration in order to improve results and general preparedness within the Scania Group.

Your Profile

We assume that you have a solid experience in business continuity and a proven record of successful design, development and implementation of processes. We expect for you to have a strong business skill which you will use to protect as well as create value and incorporate structures to meet requirements in a practical and hands on way of working. You have experience from different areas within business continuity such as facilitating business impact analyses, write business continuity plans as well as facilitate tests and exercises.

The ability to drive decision making, facilitate change and resolve issues in a diplomatic way is vital for success.

We are looking for a person who has high integrity and an open-minded approach towards your tasks. You have strong analytical skills as well as an innovative mindset combined with a clear customer focus.

Requirements


• An academic background within a relevant area
• A minimum of 5 years’ experience with Business Continuity Management and/or Resilience preferably in a second line role of responsibility within an international company.
• Experience in digital and data driven ways of working
• Fluency in both written and spoken English, additional language skills are advantages
• The position may, in the future, require international travels
• Strong organisational skills
• Excellent team skills, both as a leader and as a team player
