Operations are divided into four product areas: Tube, Strip, Wire and Heating Technology - and Primary Products.

Product area (PA) Strip is a leading producer of cold-rolled and hardened precision strip, metal powder and parts produced from metal powder, with production units in Sweden, the USA, China and the UK and sales units around the world. We are now looking for an experienced leader, combining excellent business understanding with the analytical skills necessary to continue the development of our Business Control function, while playing an important role in the PA management team. Your workplace will be in Sandviken.

Key performance areas
As Business Control Manager you are responsible for ensuring an effective performance management structure and process within the product area. You are a main driver in the creation of strategy, and actively challenge targets and financial plans of the businesses within our PA. Process ownership of the book closing, budget and forecast processes are also important parts of the role, combined with owning the investment appropriation process within the product area.

You will report to Mats Gunnarsson, Senior Vice President of SMT, and the General Manager for PA Strip.

Your profile
We are looking for an experienced leader with a business degree. Solid business understanding is a requirement, as are strong communication skills in English, in both speaking and writing.

As a person you have excellent analytical skills and a strategic mindset, as well as strong interpersonal and organizational skills. You are energetic, goal oriented and genuinely passionate about what you do, all the while able to keep a broad perspective, prioritize and focus on key issues.
