About the job
In this role, you mentor, coach, and inspire a small team responsible for the full business control scope connected to our business area. You prioritize what activities to focus on and handle both planning and execution on our well-developed growth agenda in mind –transforming numbers into business advantages. To succeed, you set clear expectations, solid structures and you collaborate closely with financial resources across the company, with Sandvik Group functions as well as SMS Divisions. Based on actual results and forecasts, you prepare reporting and deliver fact-based business decision material for stakeholders.
You are a valued member of the finance management team within SMS, and you report to Vice President Finance. The location for this position is Sweden, preferable Stockholm or Sandviken and it’s possible to work some of your time remotely. International travel monthly is included in the job.

Being analytical, quality conscious and a solid business partner, you explain the meaning of numbers and turn them into important and relevant business decisions. You’re also service driven and ambitious, working proactively with a sense of urgency when the situation calls for it. You’re an inclusive and engaging leader who communicates clearly and with integrity, on top of this you’re the number one collaborator and team player – someone who is comfortable in challenging us and making things happen.
