What you’ll do:


The Business Control Manager is responsible for leading the Financial Planning and Analysis in the Transport Management Automation business. The role provides information, financial and commercial, according to reporting requirements, providing insight and analysis to understand and influence performance. This individual is a key contributor to the execution of the business’ strategy and will be required to have a close relationship with non-financial commercial counterparts.


Closing / Reporting
Implements and then drives the month closing process
Responsible for accuracy of profitability reporting per service (PnL per service but also consolidated on Volvo)
Monitors and analyses profitability development of services
Drives the transfer pricing and Back Office allocation between services (Activity basd cost)
Follows up HC / investment costs

Pricing
Develops the pricing models for advice to management
Delivers processes and tools for an effective pricing governance



Business support:
Supports in the management and analysis of underperforming services
Works closely with Management to support the understanding of current and future performance
Provides support and guidance to the functional areas in the development of their business plans and other business control activities
Provides effective and concise analysis of the financial position of the business resulting in pro-active recommendations to business leaders with focus, but not limited to fees & price management, cost control, profitability measurement.
Supports the Head of finance in the implementation of the regulatory roadmap with specific focus for any financial risk requirements as well as financial processes.
Supports in developing new Volvo services (Business case)
Manages ad-hoc support and analysis supporting the local management team and other staff functions in developing executive information, reporting and measurement for financial and non-financial data



Budget
Prepares and consolidates business plans including long and short term forecasts, the monthly rolling forecast and all additional forecasts requested by management



Organization
Leadership, development and management of the Financial Analysis and Planning activities
Develops and drives Business Intelligence capabilities across the business. Steers and delivers reporting for internal and external purposes





Who you are


We believe you have a university degree, from BS/BA in Finance or related field. Extremely strong experience in financial modelling from building from scratch to sharing outcome to the management team is required. Prior experience in driving Business Intelligence activities is required. Winning confidence and building relations comes natural to you. Other experience you might have in your backpack could be experience of working in a growing and fast-scaling business

Our ideal candidate is:
Strong evidence of personal initiative and outstanding verbal and written communication skills English. Swedish is highly desired.
Innovative problem solving and strong analytical and quantitative abilities.
Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability and desire to work within and in support of a team environment
Proficient with MS Office, with advanced knowledge in Excel and PowerPoint. Advanced knowledge of Hyperion preferred; Experience with SAP desired.
