Business Controller

On behalf of our world leading automotive client we are now looking for a Business Controller supporting MAS/DCL Solution Units (SU) for their increasing consultancy. In this role you will be reporting functionally to the Unit Business Controller SU and be part of the Business control team in Sweden. You will also be part of the SU Director(s) management team.

The mission will start in February where the right consultant will be extended or hired after 12 months. Application screening will start immediately, we look forward to receiving your application as soon as possible.

Arbetsuppgifter

As Business controller you will have responsibility to support and drive the financial agenda. As a business partner, you work close with the business with analysis, follow-up as well as supporting business decision, consistently striving to maximize the added value in order to improve the business performance. Further on you need to ensure closing and accounting processes are followed. You operate in a global context, having a number of interfaces with both stakeholders and partner.

What you will do:
• Support decision-making in providing relevant and thorough financial analysis and insights
• Secure financial follow up with transparent structure and high quality
• Lead planning process within served functions and secure target fulfillment
• With a high degree of pro-activity, support the served function in securing that financial KPI’s are met
• Together with the Director of Solution Unit develop, plan, budget, forecast and follow up all activities across the organization
• Monitor savings objectives are being met and alert the functions that are responsible to take corrective actions
• Follow up the accomplishment of the different business case
• Perform proactive controlling and drive the cost awareness in management team in order to achieve short and long term financial targets
• Perform root cause analysis within specified area
• Initiate and follow up improvement actions

Utbildning/erfarenhet

You have proven experience as a business controller and demonstrate core values according to the Volvo Way. You will need to actively cooperate with various stakeholders and navigate within a multi-cultural environment.

What you maybe have with you today:
• University/Master’s Degree or equivalent in relevant area
• Strong personal drive and desire to exceed expectations
• Experience from Financial and Business controlling
• An open and positive attitude with ability to create an inspiring and motivating climate.
• Flexible and interested in financial processes
• Excellent communication & presentations skills
• Ability to establish and maintain good relations
• Very strong personal integrity and credibility
• Complete proficiency in English
