Sandvik Construction (SC) is a business area within the Sandvik Group providing solutions for virtually any construction industry application encompassing such diverse businesses as surface rock quarrying, tunneling, excavation, demolition, road building, recycling and civil engineering. The range of products includes rock tools, drilling rigs, breakers, bulk-materials handling and crushing and screening machinery.

The Finance department's main responsibility is SC's financial control and reporting. We serve many stakeholders both within SC and elsewhere in the Sandvik Group. Work is often carried out on very tight deadlines and includes both regular analysis and projects of an ad hoc nature. We are now looking to augment the department with a Business Controller.

This position is on a six-month contract to start, but may be converted into a permanent position.

Key performance areas
As Business Controller your main responsibilities will include:
- Joint responsibility with Financial Controller for the BA reporting, forecast, target process
- Follow-up, analysis and clear explanations and comments regarding actual results, forecasts and targets
- Project office follow-up, including turnaround
- Performance management including KPI development
- Promotion of Net Working Capital efficiency
- Group Business Result follow-up

You will be a member of the BA Finance team.

The position involves traveling up to about 25% of the time.

Your profile
You hold a BSc in Economics or Accounting and have two to five years' experience of business control at operational unit level and two to five years' experience of result consolidations. An MBA is considered an advantage, as is previous experience from working in production or a sales unit in any manufacturing company. Knowledge of a financial consolidation system, preferably BPC, is also an advantage. Since you will work together with business controllers within the BA in a global environment, you need to have good communication skills in written and verbal English. Knowledge of Swedish is a plus.

You are a self-motivated, analytical problem solver with high ambition, who wants to learn and be challenged. We expect that you have strong interpersonal skills, are perceptive and can easily create a trusting cooperation in a natural manner. You work well in teams and are able to think strategically and at an abstract level.
