Italian Ferrero, www.ferrereo.se, which has existed since the 1940’ is one of the largest confectionery groups in the world and Europe´s No 1 chocolate producer. They are known for products as Ferrero Rocher, Nutella, Kinder Surprise, Kinder Pinguì, Kinder Maxi King and Tic Tac. The company has approx. 22.000 employees and 15 production units worldwide. The consolidated turnover was 7,795 million euros in 2012. There are 68 employees in Scandinavia.
Ferrero Scandinavia is now looking for a Business Controller with strong interpersonal skills and focus on developing and driving the business.
The role as Business Controller is broad and challenging and will place you right on an international arena with contacts at all levels in the organization. The position is located at the Scandinavian headquarter in the central Malmö and reports to a controlling team leader.
Main responsibilities and tasks will be:
* Control of company costs and securing relevant data for preparation of the key business figures.
* Track down and analyze past events, carry out variance analyses and report variances versus budget as well as previous year and forecast.
* Contributing in the budget and forecast processes and deliver monthly profit & loss statements, specific analyses, business comments and comparisons.
* Prepare month- and year-end closing by collecting data from relevant departments and existing marketing and sales databases
* Be the contact person for all departments of the company with reference to cost information of the operating departments.
Furthermore you will maintain master data and financial information such as purchase and sales prices,. You will also work with product costing and take responsibility for costing of new products, gathering of information and calculations of profitability of new as well as old products with changed conditions.
Candidate profile
As a successful candidate you have 2-3 years experience of a business controlling role, preferable within an international company. You have a university degree in business administration and economics and basic experience of accounting. You are fluent in English both oral and written and we expect you to have excellent IT skills and understanding. If you have experience of SAP and Hyperion Financial Management this is regarded as a merit
As a person you are structured with a high analytical capacity, strong ambition and a powerful self-drive. You also possess the ability to identify and realize improvements and to collect relevant information for the task at hand. Other valuable characteristics are flexibility and a high level of integrity as well as a sound judgement and an ability to see the big picture and prioritize tasks that drive the business forward. Furthermore you are a positive and outgoing person who likes to work in a group and build professional relations with internal as well as external parties.
