Sandvik Mining and Construction is a rapidly expanding business area within Sandvik.Business Control plays an important part in giving proactive financial support to improve business performance.The ability to 'make numbers talk' is one of our key competencies.We need to strengthen the organization and are looking for a Business Controller based at Sandvik Mining and Construction's Head Office in Sandviken.The SMC Finance department consists of six people and you will report to the Business and Financial Control Manager of SMC.The position provides excellent career development opportunities in a flexible, fast moving global environment.You will be working in an international setting, with extensive communication with our managers worldwide.Working at a business area gives you a unique overview of our total operations and the possibility to create networks across the Sandvik group.There are many opportunities for personal development. Key performance areas As the Business Controller your main tasks are to: . Develop and implement analysis tools..Follow up of financial processes.. Review activities to detect problems and errors.. Participate in closing processes including analyses and investigations.. Maintain and develop financial guidelines.. Participate in mergers and acquisitions.Your profile You have a university degree within finance and at least 5 years experience from finance and controlling.Experience from both production and sales operations in an international environment are an advantage.You possess a strong drive and are result oriented, with a strong analytical capability and are able to handle large amounts of information.Experience and interest in IT tools is essential.You have strong communication and interpersonal skills.The job includes international traveling.
