The opportunity
Our PBFA (Planning, Budgeting and Financial Analysis) team is seeking an experienced professional to support the EY Nordic organization. You will be part of a team of dedicated senior Finance advisors located in the Nordics and in the EY global delivery centre in Wroclaw, Poland. Your tasks will be to:

· Act as a Trusted Business Advisor towards the business in cooperation with the Nordic finance organization
· Deliver Powerful Insights to Key Stakeholders via regular and ad hoc reporting and close dialogue
· Drive Excellence in Short- and Long-Term Planning and Forecasting
· Network Locally, Regionally and Globally within Finance and Outside
· Build Strong Partnerships with Business Leaders

In the role, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing the execution of robust regional planning and forecasting processes, as well as delivering Trusted Business Advisor support to the Leadership.

The position can be located in any of the Nordic countries.

Your key responsibilities
In this role you continuously develop and deliver streamlined regional planning and forecasting processes guided by global and local requirements. You understand business needs and translate financial reporting and analysis into insights and proactively advise on expected financial performance versus plan based on analytics such as trend analysis and modelling of forward-looking scenarios. You also identify business trends and make recommendations of practical steps to improve region financial performance and processes. Maintaining and developing relationships with main stakeholders in the business is the key to succeed in this position!

· Process and project management skills
· Ability to challenge assumptions and decisions to drive the right discussions
· Excellent communication and change capabilities

To qualify for the role you must have
· Master’s degree in finance, economics, business administration or similar
· +5 years of relevant experience in a professional atmosphere in a finance/business capacity with forecasting and budgeting experience
· Fluent English in both written and spoken

Ideally, you’ll also have
· Experience from the professional services industries an advantage; background or experience from consulting preferred
