MAJORITY is the fintech startup that after two years of build up just spun off out of the Rebtel group. Majority is a digital bank offering financial services tailor-made for the migrants target group needs, providing critical services such as banking, international money transfer and International calling all from one and the same app.

The Role

As Controller in the fast growing MAJORITY group, you will be responsible for business controlling and part of the Finance department. You will be the trusted business adviser, the person working directly with COO and CEO towards investors and other external parties and you will be responsible for setting efficient and thoughtful controlling procedures.

 

A day as a Controller is full of exciting challenges and responsibilities such as:

 


Responsible for both regular and ad-hoc analysis requests and for reporting that tracks the business KPIs; in order to produce clear and actionable conclusions for the decision-making.

Responsible for designing and implementing processes to monitor and control the ongoing business performance 

Implement action plans together with stakeholders to capture business opportunities or deal with deviations.

Serve as an advocate for long-term interests, including profitability and return on Investment analysis and financial recommendations.

Be a real business partner, building a network across Commercial, Sales, Analysis and Product teams to take on a wide range of analytical and operational questions and to share financial understanding across the company.

Analyse historical and current trends to build sound business cases and be able to accurately simulate future opportunities.



Requirements:


University degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Engineering or similar discipline with analytical bias

3+ years work experience within Controlling, FP&A or Business Analysis
