Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions is a new and autonomous business area within Sandvik Group, and a frontrunner in solutions for processing rocks and minerals in the mining and construction industries. No matter the application – crushing, screening, breaking or demolition – we ensure that our customers are matched with the right solutions to maximize both productivity and profitability.

About the job
In this position, you’re a central player in our business control processes and a forecast process owner, who analyzes our business performance with a forward-thinking focus. You proactively manage the tasks performed within a regular business control position – such as budgets compared to actuals, estimates, reports, controls and audits – and you take all figures into account as you look at early indicators, communicate deviations, resolve issues and recommend reliable actions. Other important items on your agenda include preparation and validation of business cases and investment proposals.


By working closely with our managers as a true finance partner, you transfer your knowledge and promote an ownership of both number and performance. You also drive cost saving and business improvement projects – often connected to business intelligence, M3 or other digital tools – and you help us prioritize our resources in the most valuable and optimized way to increase both efficiency and profitability.


We offer flexible working conditions, although our office is in Svedala (with an easy train commute from surrounding cities) and you need to spend some time here on a weekly basis.


Your background and personality
We’re looking for someone with a degree in Business, Economics or Accounting. You have at least three years’ experience from working in similar roles - preferably within a global industry and connected to IT projects. You bring advanced skills in modern Excel, Power BI or/and Mercur and an understanding of major ERP systems, and we consider experience from M3 as a big plus. All in all, you’re tech savvy and you know your way around different systems and digital tools. As we’re a global business, you need to communicate and present information fluently in English, while skills in Swedish are beneficial.


You’re ambitious with a confident and independent drive to move forward and make things happen. While on the other hand, you really engage in creating a collaborative setting and working together as a team to deliver results. Having an analytical and organized mindset enables you to challenge us and search for improvements, and you want to develop both yourself and our processes. You also bring a natural talent for analyzing financial data and translating this into strategic business advantages.
