Business Controller

The role of Business Controller
As Business Controller, you will be a key part of our finance team where you will be responsible for budget monitoring, analysis, and KPI reporting. Through the analysis of various economic parameters, you will predict future costs and incomes for the company. You will work closely with various budget owners within the organization and support them with financial facts to ensure they make smart decisions.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Budgeting, reporting, and forecasting
• Analysis and follow up of results and key metrics
• Support management and other functions within the organization with financial expertise
• Develop and improve financial control, planning, and follow-up

Who are you?
Naturally, you have a great interest in finance. You are solution-oriented, and you approach challenges with a “can-do” attitude. You are analytical and understand with ease the differences in key metrics, analysis, and budgets to prioritize upcoming work tasks.

You also have:

• A bachelor's degree in finance or similar
• At least one-year work experience, before, during, or after studies
• Good working knowledge of Excel
• Experience with working with Anaplan is a merit
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken. It’s a plus if you speak an additional language.

To succeed in this role, you must possess strong communication skills since a key part of the role is communicating your financial findings and presenting complex financial figures to colleagues who are unfamiliar with financial terms and do not have a financial background. You will also work with decision-makers and management and make suggestions on how we can improve financial forecasting and financial processes. Therefore, it’s important that you’re naturally curious, diligent, and can work independently to deliver results.
