Business controller
Commercial Operations has the global responsibility for the strategies, operations and control of the Scania-owned sales and services companies and business units.
Commercial Operations provides support to the Scania-owned as well as to the independent franchise network through its support functions and support companies.
Active Business controlling is our way of driving and guiding our business towards overall target fulfilment. Within the group Financial Steering Model we contribute through securing a relevant and consistent financial planning, reporting and follow up of the Commercial Operations.
We are looking for a new colleague with a strong interest in active business controlling and development of financial models and processes.
Our main tasks are:
Design, develop and implement financial models for new and current business concepts as well as for processes within the financial and administration area
Continuous improvements and adaptations of models, reporting and interpretation of information
Secure compliance to the financial models by conducting on site review visits as well as developing and maintaining review instructions and templates.
Credit monitoring and control
Support in setting up of financial and legacy IT systems, including training of staff
Develop and maintain the content of our business intelligence tool
Daily support to business units throughout the world in accounting, reporting and model issues
Participate in various development projects
The successful candidate should have a good knowledge in accounting and financial models and processes with experience from similar tasks, preferably from the commercial vehicle industry.
As a person, you are innovative and driven by target fulfilments. You have a holistic view but love to work with the details that build up the full picture, putting the pieces in its right context.
You are interested in working and developing in an international environment managing different cultures. Apart from being fluent in English, it is a merit to have international experience and ability to communicate in other languages.
