Business controller

We are a family business that offers innovative debt collection services with corporate social responsibility, and long term partnerships with our clients. We are looking a Business Controller who will support the region in financial and business oriented reporting and analysis on behalf of the Finance department Alektum Group. This is an exciting opportunity to join our growth journey and be a key contributor to the expansion of our business in East Region and in Europe.

As a Business Controller you will work closely with our sales teams in Europe developing and maintain processes based on business needs. You will report to the Director Business Control (Operations & Sales) and will be a part of a large and very skilled team within Group Finance. In scope of your responsibility you will support our Polish organization and Czech Republic and Slovakia departments.

Main Tasks & Key Responsibilities

- Analyze, identify, understand, the main business drivers impacting performance vs. forecasts to enable strategic decision making and development.
- Drive financial insights and support the organization in preparing reports, business cases for new and existing customers.
- Proactively participate, develop and improve processes.


Education & Experience

- We prefer You to have a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or similar level of education.
- Documented experience from financial controlling, business controlling or similar.
- Experienced user of Microsoft office, with specific focus on excel modeling and analysis. (QlikView or other data programs a strong advantage).
- For this position we need You to be fluent in both Polish and English.


Skills & Competencies

We hope to find candidates with a strong analytical, communicational, structured and business oriented mindset. Of course You need to be interested in finance and figures understand the metrics of what makes a sustainable profitable business. You need to be solution oriented and a strategic thinker that curiously and proactively identify opportunities to leverage data. For this position you should have excellent written and oral communication skills in Polish, English and Swedish.
