Vattenfall is now looking for the right person to fill the position as


Business Controller
in BA Generation in Hamburg, Berlin or Solna. You will report to Vice President Business Control Generation. This position is in a team of total six Business controllers working with support and challenge the business in BA Generation to meet our targets.


Your Job as a Business Controller
Lead BA Generation business plan, forecasting and reporting processes
Plan, prepare and participate in BA Generation controlling team meetings
Drive and support high quality business control
Participate in projects and development initiatives within BA or Group
Various analysis and development in cash flow, working capital and asset follow up
Be the point of contact between BA Generation and Group Control in many controlling / finance related topics
Plan and prepare presentations for BPM (Business Performance Meetings; BA Generation meeting with Group management)
Report and analyze the result for BA Generation and suggest corrective actions to management
Coach and support BU and Staff Functions forecast, follow up and management reporting
Contribute to the digitalization in the finance area


Your Profile as a Business Controller
We are looking for a person who has a relevant University degree or equal and extensive experience of business control in a large international organization (> 5-10 years). Your command of English is strong, both verbally and written. In addition, the following qualifications are important for this position:
Competence and experience of business control in an international organization (5-10 years or more).
Knowledge in consolidated accounting and IFRS
Experience in compiling reporting packages (Monthly, Quarterly, Annual, Forecast and Busines Plan)
Ability to handle complex business environments
Strong analytical skills

Business Area Generation is responsible for Vattenfall’s nuclear operations in Sweden and Germany, our hydro operations in Sweden, Finland and Germany, and Services Nordic. BA Generation should be leading in safe and efficient low CO2 emitting hydro and nuclear energy production, on a large scale.
