Business Controller

We are looking for a business controller to join our small but talented business controlling team and help us take Matsmart - Motatos to the next level! In this role your primary responsibility will be supporting the commercial team in analysing and improving our overall business performance. You will operate in a dynamic international environment with partners across all our markets, working especially closely with the Chief Commercial Officer, and the country managers.

What you’ll do 💪
- Support country teams by analyzing sales, campaign and promotion performance as well as working with more complex subjects, such as, what is driving profitable customer behavior

- Develop and follow up on new KPIs and monitor and develop recommendations for our assortment mix to help create the perfect assortment blueprint for each market
- Be an important business partner to a multitude of our teams
- Establish reporting and processes for cost monitoring in Marketing, Customer Care, Returns and Compensation
- Transfer and constantly improve manual reports into automated BI reports and be the counterpart to our data team to translate the commercial agenda to the data team
- Support our budget and forecast updates
- Support achieving high forecast accuracy, both for sales and logistics
- Help preparing monthly management and board reports, giving the storyline to the monthly development




Our humble expectations
We would love if you have

- A bachelor degree in finance, accounting or economics
- 3-4 years of experience from working as a business controller, preferably within e-commerce
- A passion for numbers and data analysis
- Advanced excel skills
- A true team player
- Full professional proficiency in written and spoken English
