Join our team at Sandvik Rock Tools in Sandviken as a Business Controller on a temporary basis for one year – a unique opportunity for development in your career path while enriching your professional relationships and expanding your skill set!
Your mission
In this temporary position, you maintain and develop our divisional financial processes together with the team, including actual reporting, forecasts, target setting, long-term planning, business case and investment analysis. You provide fast, automated, and to-the-point business performance analysis of past, present, and future trends, highlighting risks and opportunities. Additionally, you create clear overviews of total division performance through developing relevant key figures, reporting, and communication.
To enable successful, data-driven decision-making, you support and advise on our business performance, and you prioritize actions to ensure development aligns with Rock Tools' overall goals. Furthermore, you drive finance competence development within our organization through guidelines, training, controller network development, and best practice sharing.
You’re based at our office in Sandviken, Sweden and report to the Director of Finance at Rock Tools.
Your profile
We’re looking for someone with a couple of years’ experience in business control, where you’ve gained a thorough knowledge of financial principles, rules, and processes. You have high IT literacy and a drive for digitalization and automation – you have advanced skills in Microsoft tools like Excel, Power Query, Power BI, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint, and knowledge of relevant ERP systems. The ideal candidate also has strong analytical skills with a focus on data-driven recommendations.
Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is essential.
Yor personality are important to us – you’re a positive and analytical team player who enjoys working in a collaborative environment. With your pedagogic skills you effectively share knowledge and you’re comfortable in making decisions and encouraging change.
