We are looking for a Business Controller Analyst for the period of August to February 2023. The company is a big international organisation that works in the health and hygiene sector. This consultant will be a great asset for the team for the annual financial report. You will be hired through Poolia Väst in Gothenburg and we welcome both consultants and sub-consultants for this assigment.
About the position
The role is responsible, as part of a team, for following up and supporting controlling activities in a proactive way.
The role is in GOPS Finance, within the team called Finance & Control. GOPS is Global Operational Services (GOPS) that is a global unit with 1,900 employees, located in over 43 countries worldwide, that delivers sustainable business value to this health and hygiene company and their customers, by driving group wide operational efficiencies through Global Business Services (GBS), IT and Global Sourcing. GOPS Finance is the controlling unit for GOPS.
Responsibilities
Asa aBusiness Controller Analyst you will:
• Follow up - Supports deviation and target analysis to secure accurate and transparent understanding of costs for a department/division or BU.
• Responsible for driving and maintaining good system set-up that supports accurate and transparent analysis and understanding of department/division/BU costs
• Responsible for providing diverse stakeholders with reports and analysis
• Responsible for providing advice to the stakeholders in order to stay within the budget
• Responsible for supporting excellent internal control around cost accounting
Your tasks will be to support and be part of the team called Finance and Control within GOPS Finance.
In this team they work with securing the set-up of primary cost masterdata, cost-allocation and securing high quality in GOPS costs posting. You will mainly support and off load the Business Controller Analysts working with securing high quality in cost, mainly within external labor cost, but also some administrative work connected to the team.
Your profile
• Bachelor degree in Business Adminstration
• 3-4 years of experience of controlling and accounting tasks
• Analytical skill
• Strong communication skills
• Team player
• Fluent in English (written and verbal)
• Excellent skills in Excel and SAP
