Business Controller at Global Expansion

The Expansion Department is responsible for the H&M Group’s real estate portfolio and aims to secure long term profitable growth through new locations, rebuilds and relocations. This is done from several aspects for example: Leasing, Store Planning, Interior Purchase, Construction and Facility management.

As Business Controller, your main focus will be to support the departments with:
 
· Goal setting and budgeting process
· Financial and operational follow up / performance follow up
· Project based analysis aiming to improve ways of working and operational steering
· Data visualization – create and maintain ways to present information in Excel and Power BI etc.

You will play a key role in financial and operational follow up, identifying improvement opportunities, and suggesting actions. Your tasks will vary between short- and long-term initiatives and can touch upon everything from setting targets and budgets, to follow up on our results and developing ways of working. You need to thrive in an environment where you shift focus between holistic, multi-dimensional analysis to very specific tasks such as compiling data, reviewing data quality and preparing material.
 
To succeed in this position, you have:
· 2-5 years work experience as a controller or business analyst within sales, consulting, retail or finance area.
· A solid knowledge of the H&M Group and preferably have worked in our global organization already
· A master’s degree in business or engineering.
· Strong analytical skills
· A strong interest and business sense for retail, customer flows and underlying sales drivers.
· Strong project management skills with a strong leadership potential and communication skills.
· A “can do” attitude dealing with fast changes and a high pace.
· High ambition of always beating expectations.
· Fluent in English and preferably other languages.
