In this role you act as a business partner to the Operating Unit Manager, Andreas Wrener, of the factory to plan and ensure profit and business growth through market demand creation. You support the Operating Unit Manager and his team with transparent information on the full scope of the factory. You are also part of the Management Team. You direct and control financial report’s quality and accuracy, ensuring that the practices of the business comply with company policies, external regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles for the business controlling activities in the territory of responsibility.
You will be an important player in the Operating Unit management team, with experience within many different business areas in a culture that encourage initiative and ideas together with a large portion of responsibility.
Your responsibilities
Serve as the key partner to Operating Unit Manager in defining the strategy for the unit. You are part of the local management team. You will be identifying issues and advising management on action plans and operational strategies to resolve.
Ensure compliance with company and country standards, regulations, IFRS accounting standards guidelines, and internal controls.
Preparation of monthly financial statements and management of the business planning and forecasting process for the area of responsibility and serving as the interface to HUB Europe controller.
Drive appropriate cost structure, productivity optimization, and capital efficiency (NWC reduction/increase in ITO). Monitoring of the month absorption is one of the key focus areas. Ensure that hourly rates and overheads are reviewed at least once per year and updated in case of change in volumes, costs, etc.
Monitor progress achieved and providing insight and analysis to support operational decision-making.
Establish and overseeing processes and tools necessary to obtain transparent and reliable financial data and business information.
Ensure transparency in financial reporting and disclosures. Support internal and external audits.
Ensure timely and efficient communication with internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality and efficiency for area of responsibility.
Support business transformation and change management initiatives.
Your background
A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration.
Ideally more than 10 years of experience in business control, preferably from manufacturing/production control.
Strong analytical skills. Understanding and feeling for the business.
Experience in Change management, relevant international experience, and cross-cultural communication skills.
Good command of written and spoken English, Swedish is a preference.
As a person you are driven, ambitious, a good team player with interest in continuous process improvements.
