HVDC is a business unit within the Hitachi Energy. HVDC unit (High Voltage Direct Current), with headquarters in Ludvika – develops, manufactures and sells DC transmission systems on a global market. HVDC technology is used to transmit electricity over long distances and for power transmission via submarine cables. It is also used to connect power systems.  
We are looking for Business Controller and Business Analyst who have global and varied exposure in controlling function. You will support effective business decisions by monitoring, controlling, analyzing, and interpreting financial data in order to evaluate various business alternatives and recommend most appropriate business solutions.

Your responsibilities 
As Business Controller you will oversee the business planning and forecasting process for the area of responsibility and serve as interface to Business Manager.
Evaluate financial implications of various business plan, support in building scenarios and recommend actions.
Drive appropriate cost structure, effective line function controlling, productivity optimization.
Ensure transparency in financial reporting & disclosures.
Ensure timely and efficient communication with relevant Local/Country/Accounting center and other relevant internal customers to identify and discuss issues for improvement of operations, work quality & efficiency for area of responsibility.
As Business Analyst you will perform analysis of actual vs budget & forecast and propose improvement actions.
Support and ensure appropriate cost structure, effective line function controlling.
Provide information to Management by assembling and summarizing data, preparing reports, making presentations of findings, analysis and recommendation.

Your background 
You have academic background such as a bachelor’s degree in business administration and Economics or similar.
For the position of Business Controller, we see you have minimum 5 years of experience within accounting and controlling.
For the position of Business Analyst, minimum 2 years of experience within accounting and controlling is required.
Previous work experience in similar role and minimum 2 years of experience within accounting and controlling.
Familiar with SAP/R3 and MS office.
You are a dedicated person who always strive for top results, you will effectively push our work forward and finish your tasks in time.
You have the ability to see the full picture and to inform others of your conclusions in a clear manner.
