The H&M brand controlling team works globally as a support, enabler & steering function to regions, business units, central support functions, brand management and group functions to reach their long-term profit growth & targets. This is done by following up the progress on our H&M brand plan, driving global controlling processes & financial steering for the full H&M brand.
Job Description
As a Business Controller & Data Analyst within central controlling, you will work close to the business in a diverse team of business controllers and analysts with all different expertise & skills.
Key responsibilities
Build Power BI reports and data models that take H&M’s analytical capabilities to the next level
Foresee future BI and analytical needs and drive the development of these together with relevant business - or Business tech (IT) stakeholders
Use advance level calculations on datasets and use DAX/SQL in order to visualize data
Stay current on trends and best practices in Power BI and customer analytics
Collaborate with different teams within the company to exchange ideas, data sources and analyses.
Qualifications
We believe that you are a true teamplayer with the ability to gather, analyze and understand data. You translate data into insights and communicates in a clear, inspiring and simple way while being able to see complex patterns through various analyses. You can combine outstanding analytical skills with strong interpersonal capabilities. You are a self-learner and have the ability to see the bigger picture.
We are looking for someone with an interest and experience of financial data, or wants to learn and develop yourself in this field. The analysis and reports will be of financial nature, but we are looking more and more into connecting it to other non-financial data as well.

To be successful in the role we see that you have:
At least 2 years of experience within roles as Power BI developer, Business Intelligence Specialist or similar roles. If you don't fully comply this, please apply anyhow!
Previous experience of controlling, accounting or similar.
A higher education within business, IT engineering or statistics
Experience and knowledge in SQL, DAX and PBI
Strong skills and interest of learning Power BI, data modeling and data visualization
Strong analytical skills and advanced skills in Excel
Ability to communicate complex and large amounts of data through effective visualizations and dashboarding
Proven track record of and adapt in developing, publish and scheduling Power BI reports as per business requirements
Understanding of the business requirements and develop data models accordingly by taking care of the resources
An interest in financial data is considered a plus as much of the analysis and reports will be of a financial nature
Additional Information
This is a fulltime position with placement in Stockholm, Sweden, and you will report to the Head of central controlling team H&M brand.
