Business Controller Financial Planning & Analysis

To Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions and our Division Stationary Crushing and Screening we’re now looking for a curious Business Controller for Financial Planning and Analysis. This is a truly diverse role and you’re responsible for both local operational management reporting and leading global improvement projects. This includes everything from preparing financial statements and business performance reports, to forecasting and preparing annual budgets and driving improvements in both reporting and forecasting accuracy.
You’re also:
driving the monthly end closing process for the Division
responsible for continuous improvements of performance review decks
contributing to financial forecasts and 3-year financial business planning process
supporting with problem solving, central escalation of accounting and performance improvement areas
providing stakeholders with information and analysis enabling the right business decisions
driving improvements in your areas of responsibility, both being a part of global projects and leading your own improvement initiatives.

With approximately 60 entities spread globally within our Division, an important mission in this role is developing strong relationships with the global business control community. You report to the Division’s FP&A Manager and have many stakeholders, such as global entity controllers, sales area controllers, and you act as business partner to the Division management team.
The location for this position is Svedala – a fast and easy commute from surrounding cities, such as Malmö, Lund and Ystad, and with our site located just across from the train station. Some global travel is a natural part of the assignment.
We’re looking for someone with a university degree in Finance or Business Economics combined with a few years’ experience from working as controller or analyst in a global, diverse environment. You have strong knowledge of financial and business accounting, management reporting and consolidation, together with a deep understanding of the software’s used in this line of work. With your analytical mind and structured ways of working, you know the importance of being transparent in your work to create powerful synergies. To be successful in our business control team we expect you to be proactive, self-starting and a good communicator. Since we act on the global arena, you’re fluent in both written and verbal English.
