We are now looking for an experienced Business Controller focused on purchasing to join our Controlling department at Group Expansion.

Job Description


As a business controller you’ll be a proactive and strategic partner to the Head of NCG (Non-Commercial Goods) Procurement and support the NCG Development & Procurement department, the function responsible for all non-commercial product development, purchase & delivery for our sales and media channels. In the role, you will be a key player in setting and implementing the global strategy for NCG purchasing. You also have full ownership of the analytical agenda to ensure we deliver on set strategy and targets. You work globally with all markets and brands.

Together with the Head of NCG Procurement be responsible for setting and implementing the global strategy for purchasing noncommercial goods to our sales & media channels and drive profitable and meaningful growth.
Develop and implement strategic and operational KPIs for our purchasing department, and set short- and long-term goals and targets globally.
Proactively define and implement the analytic agenda needed to deliver on set targets, including spend analysis, budget guidance and follow up, business case build-up and reporting.
Develop and implement methods and systems to increase efficiency, decrease costs and minimize business risk.
Together with the Analytics and BI team create and maintain tools for NCG processes globally.
Be a strong and close support to our NCG teams, acting as a finance business partner to identify opportunities to optimize requirements, improve the balance between cost and quality, and secure alignment in ways of working.
Review market and industry trends to steer department’s future focuses.
Give guidance for strategic and operational decisions as well as change management initiatives.





Qualifications


To be successful in this role, we see that you have:
An academic degree in business or engineering.
4-7 years of experience as a Business Controller, Management Consultant, Business Analyst or similar roles.
Experience from working with the purchasing sector, preferably within retail.
The ability to define effective long-term plans in line with the vision and strategy for the department.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn your analysis into actions. You have advanced skills in Excel and Powerpoint, Power BI skills are meritorious.
A strong business mindset and are comfortable in making decisions and driving progress.
Proven strong communication and teamwork abilities.
Experience from preparing and presenting financial reporting to Senior Management and other stakeholders.
Fluency in English; Swedish is not mandatory.
A curious mind and a passion for learning new things.
