Arbetsbeskrivning
Within Sandvik Group, we’re passionate about development and advanced technology, and we always aim to offer the best possible experience for our customers. Right now, we’re taking an exciting step in transforming our market-leading business even further within the area of stone crushers and screening equipment for the mining and construction industries. We do this by founding an independent, growth-oriented and customer-centric Business Area by the name of Sandvik Rock Processing Solutions. A place of inclusive collaboration, agility and innovation - where we nurture an ever-growing portfolio of products and solutions based on the needs of the market, and where pioneering software technology meets the core of manufacturing.
We’re now looking for an organized, forward thinking and collaborative Business Controller with focus on creating accurate and efficient financial operations for our Life Cycle Management (LCM) and Sales Development Management (SDM). Are you the business driven finance expert we need for this job? Then you should keep reading!
About the job
In this position, you’re an important player in supporting our business strategies, and managing our financial results and overall business performance. You work with both local operational management reporting, including actuals reporting, forecasts, setting and implementation of targets and financial objectives, as well as leading global improvement projects..
As you’re the business partner for Life Cycle Management and Sales Development Management, you naturally work very close together with these two teams. You develop and own the financial and profitability share of our monthly business reviews connected to above areas, and you support, coach and enhance our performance metrics to drive profitable growth together with business line controllers in our nine sales areas. In addition, you guide and support our lifecycle managers on investment proposals and business case creation. You’re also the owner of our global end to end profitability performance dashboards and financial portfolio reviews, and you make sure we follow our mid term strategy as per three year financial plan.
Sharing your financial knowledge and educating our business stakeholders is part of your mission, and you validate and support risk management in the lifecycle organization to ensure a long term feasibility of our portfolio plans. You also collaborate closely with the finance community to drive improvements and best practices, and together you provide the tools we need to develop standardized ways of working within business control.
This position is based in the Svedala/Malmö area, and some international travel would normally be included in your job.
About you
We’re looking for someone with a bachelor’s or master’s in Finance or Business Economics, combined with at least five years’ experience from working as a controller in an international environment and with commercial controlling focus. You’re skilled in reporting, profitability analysis and profitable growth planning, and you balance the minor details with the bigger picture. You’re also an excellent user of Office 365 – especially Excel and PowerPoint – and you have a deep understanding of reporting software such as Power BI and Qlikview. Any previous contact with the manufacturing industry is beneficial. We’re a global business and this calls for great communication skills in English, while knowledge of Swedish is a plus.
As a person, you’re an open minded and inspirational team player – someone who brings both joy and financial awareness as you set high standards and successful financial structures. You embrace collaboration, offer support and share knowledge, and you’re an early adopter of change and improvements. Naturally, you’re highly analytical, comfortable with numbers and complex information, and you’re also curious about new technology and financial trends. Thinking ahead, taking initiatives and prioritizing to achieve results are other traits that we value in your character. All in all, you’re a reliable and service driven financial partner!
