Business Controller , Metso Ersmark

Job Description

The position implies to support the local management team in factory production analysis. Ensure the quality of the financial information submitted. The purpose is to secure high quality and compliance with Metso internal and external requirements regarding financial information & the processes relating to; budget/rolling estimates, local and global business supporting activities and financial reporting.


Your main job duties and responsibilities are:
•Ensuring stakeholders reports, corresponding comments and KPI’s in SAP, Hyperion or other reporting formats are on time, accurate and processed in line with International Financial Report Standards as well in line with BA, BL, BU and local site specific needs and frequency.
•Identifies areas for improvement and continues to evaluate, develop and document the processes within the area of responsibility.
•Analyse and monitor prices and burdens in the factory in monthly closing.
•Work close together with the accounting team in Trelleborg
•Interpret and analyse local effect of global guidelines. Participate in implementing decided guidelines
•Communication with auditors, internal as well as external
•Be a part of the local management team, representing the finance department
•Communicating instructions and financial policies to the business
•General support in different financial issues
•Travel (both domestic and international) may be required as needed
•Performs other miscellaneous duties and/or other special projects as required.

As the Site Controller you have internal contacts locally in Ersmark and also with other business functions such as Market Area, Global Supply Chain and Metso HQ Finance. You will also be in contact with external auditors.

Requirements
To succeed in this position you need to have a Bachelor’s Degree or MSc in Business Administration, finance or equivalent. We think you have a minimum 3-5 year experience in controlling or comparable finance area, preferably from an international environment. Experience in industrial controlling environment is preferred. You need to have experience from SAP and Hyperion as a high level of computer skills (MS Office) is essential. You have excellent communication skills and are fluent in English.
