Business Controller OEM Finance Eskilstuna

Our organization
Volvo CE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of Construction Equipment. In Sweden we have four production sites, Arvika where we produce Wheel Loaders, Braås where we produce Articulated Haulers, Hallsberg where Cabs and Tanks are produced, and Eskilstuna where Components (Axles and Transmissions) are made.


The role and the team
The Business Control role supports the organization in reaching its defined set of objectives with the company’s holistic view in mind. You will be a true business partner to the organization and continuously improve both your own work and the processes you work within. You will be located within the OEM Finance Eskilstuna department and work closely together with OEM Finance, Technology and Operations for all Swedish production sites. The group consists of one Finance Manager and eleven Controllers.


Main activities and responsibilities
You will be responsible to support the cross functional management team and organization by analyzing financial performance, actively participating in business decisions and strategy development.
Secure the content, delivery precision accuracy of the financial reporting for actual, forecast and Business plan
Perform analysis of actual financial results to understand financial performance and identify risks or opportunities
Drive, develop and coordinate the investment process within the supported functions
Review and contribute to business cases
Ensure that financial policies and procedures and Finance guidelines are communicated and followed
Provide financial training
Establish good internal financial control routines

To be successful in this role you will possess the following qualifications and skills:
University degree in business administration or similar
Strong knowledge in finance, financial analysis and accounting
Several years of experience from finance and business control
Good knowledge in MS Office, in particular MS Excel
Fluent in English

We believe you are an analytical and structured person with good ability to communicate finance matters with non-finance people. You have a customer and business oriented mind-set, are self-motivating, proactive and able to work autonomously. Continuous improvement is a natural way of working for you.
We also value general IT system knowledge, SAP and financial database experience.
