The objective for the Finance and Business Control function, is to support and enable profitable and cost-efficient business activities that deliver customer value, volume and margin targets within Sales and Marketing. The department is responsible for navigate through performance analysis and follow-up Sales and Marketing’s global activities/business areas in order to support operations to initiate corrective actions. The function carries out several activities including business controlling, analysis, accounting and reporting as well as inventory records.
We are now looking for an ambitious person to work as a Business Controller Parts & Services. You have a high IT proficiency and a passion for translating business figures, financial and non-financial, to activities for profitability improvements. The position is placed at Scania Head Quarters in Södertälje. Depending on your experience and skills we will adapt the position to a more senior role.
As a Business controller you will have an important role to drive change and business navigation within our organisation.
Work responsibilities and environment
Carry out analysis on different Parts & Service product/market areas.
Enabling business owners to understand how decided activities effect profitability.
Deliveries to Parts & Service management/organization and different finance departments within Scania
Monthly analysis, quarterly forecasts and yearly budgets.
Through analysis enable better decision making with in the Area Manager Team.
You will work with the Parts & Services organization and your main contact interface will be with business owners within Parts and Services, such as area and product managers. You will be a parts of the sales as well as finance team(s). We work across the globe which makes an interest in and understanding of different business environment essential.
You will report to the Business Control Manager Parts & Services and will be part of a new team responsible for controlling the total Parts & Service Business at Sales and Marketing.
Who are you?
We are looking for an ambitious person with solid financial skills and proven track record to challenge and influence an organisation with sustainable results. As a person you are thorough, high speed, organized and have the readiness to challenge the current situation or process step by step. You have the capability to convert needs into clear goals and deliveries for both yourself and surrounding interfaces. We believe that you are business-minded with the ability to analyze big data volumes, see the main results and convert that into pedagogic communication material. In order to reach out and have impact you have strong communication skills.
You can have experience from a business analyst or financial controller role and you are ready for the next step in order to drive change and navigation.
You have a MSc in engineering and/or MSc in Economics and Business Administration with relevant work experience from business process analysis and improvement . You are fluent in English, both spoken and written and as well as basic Swedish (you know tjaba and fika). An appetite and competence for learning, utilizing and improving existing IT-tools will make you more comfortable in the role.
