For our production unit in Västberga, Stockholm, we’re now looking for a communicative and detail-oriented Business Controller – someone who’s eager to optimize the performance of the unit by delivering efficient, reliable and proactive financial support and analysis.
Your mission
In this important position within Rock Tools, you support the production unit with financial follow up, reporting and standard cost. As a member of the production units’ management team, you provide support and expertise in financial matters and take part in the mission of driving us towards a more efficient and profitable future by making statistics and numbers understandable for everyone. You’re the process owner of cost estimates, budgeting and forecasting – ensuring precision and flexibility upon establishment and follow up, as well as developing product cost estimates for yearly updates and new products. As a part of this, you also analyze and present the effects of changes in raw material price.
Other tasks on your agenda include develop and provide input to business cases on new business opportunities and follow-up on investment projects and fixed assets, ensuring monthly reports are correct and in time, and implementing internal control regarding purchasing and logistics. By developing KPI’s and tools for cost and production unit monitoring, you help making sure operations runs with optimal performance.
Your character
You’ve got a stable background of at least five years in a controller role, perhaps in the manufacturing industry, using standard cost accounting and SAP – and we think you hold a university degree in Economics or Industrial Economics. In previous assignments, you’ve gained experience from developing ERP systems from a business perspective, with process definition, standardizing, demanding and so on. You’re at home in the Office suite – especially in Excel, where you easily create pivot tables, calculus and simulation models as well as handling big data and database reading. You’re also used to analyzing and creating reports with Power BI. As we’re a global business, you need to be fluent in both written and verbal English.
Being an analytical, quality conscious and reliable financial partner, you know how to easily explain the meaning of numbers and figures and turn them into strategic business advantages. You’re also service driven and ambitious, working proactively with a sense of urgency when the situation calls for it. On top of this, you’re the number one collaborator and an inspirational team player – someone who is comfortable in challenging us and making things happen.
