Your mission
Your main purpose is to contribute to our efforts to reach the overall operational and financial goals for Sandvik Coromant and within our Coromant Business Control team and keep our global stakeholders and networks up to date. You provide the management teams with financial and operational information – enabling them to make the right business-critical decisions. You support the execution of key activities and ensure the performance of the organizationfinance and business control departments. Participating in the development of business strategies and plans, including business performance management, KPI development and implementation, modeling, analysis and comments on financial implications are important parts of your assignments as well.
Your responsibilities include:
· Follow up on business plans and processes actions in partnership with various stakeholders and monitor the financial results versus plans.
· Preparation and distribution of all required financial and management reports, including analysis and follow-up on actual results versus budget and prior periods
· Preparing rolling forecasts and ad hoc business plans where you lead the instructions and guidance for local entities ensuring that the process follows compliantly
· Performance management and KPI development
The location for this position is Sandviken, Sweden with the possibility of part time remote work.
Your profile
We are looking for someone with a university degree in Accounting or Finance or a related field combined with equivalent knowledge gained from work. You have proven experience in building, developing, mentoring, and inspiring a high performing professional business control network. accounting team. You are highly proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel. Experience working in a matrix environment is a must and we expect an interest in new digital solutions while knowledge of BPC, SAP and Power BI is a plus. Acting in a global setting calls for fluency in English, verbally and in writing.
You act with high integrity and are self-motivated. Your personality truly makes the difference and your ability to deal effectively with internal stakeholders on local, regional and global levels is a valuable asset. By understanding our global strategy, you are able to translate them into day-to-day activities and easily balance quick business decisions with proper risk management; clearly communicating the impact on our business, our customers and our employees.
