For Sandvik Machining Solutions (SMS) we’re now looking for an experienced and proactive Business Controller to join us in an exciting and international environment where development is key. Your mission
In this position, you provide financial support in business decisions by performing qualitative and quantitative analysis of business performance. You have the responsibility for ensuring reliable and efficient processes that enables high quality in monthly, quarterly and yearly closings and you drive, prepare and develop forecasting reporting and processes – as well as presenting SMS financial statements. To manage ad-hoc requests and projects from our main stakeholders are an important part of your job and you proactively and continuously work to improve our performance management.
The location for this position is at World Trade Center, Stockholm. However, some travel is required, mostly within Sweden. Flexibility and extra effort outside of working hours is also expected during monthly closings as well as close to the deadline of strategical business planning and forecast reporting.
Your background and character
We’re looking for someone with a Master´s degree in Finance. You have solid experience working for a larger corporate multinational company or perhaps as a consultant from a larger audit firm. You have a financial background with strong commercial awareness, and broad understanding of technical finance principles. To be successful in this role you also need experience from driving processes, process improvement and other improvement initiatives. You have hands on experience from working in a modern consolidation system such as SAP BPC, and enjoy working in a decentralized organization with strong divisions and brands. Acting in a global arena calls for fluency in English while knowledge of Swedish is beneficial.

With your strong logical and analytical skills you have no problem to understand and capture the overall picture and improvement areas, and you have the confidence to provide us with new ideas.
