Scania is now undergoing a transformation from being a supplier of trucks, buses and engines to a supplier of complete and sustainable transport solutions.Scania Logistics Nordic, OL, is a business unit within Scania Logistics. Our mission is to develop, operate and optimize our supply chain from supplier to Scania and TRATON production.
The responsibility of OL includes regional material control for the Nordic region (ie global material-, transport- and packaging control and engineering) and the logistic centres in Sweden (goods arrival, storage and picking parts and units for our customers at the assembly units and R&D).
The business controlling at OL are dived in two main areas: The logistic centre area and the inbound transports and packaging area. Our business controller responsible for the logistic centre area, will go on maternity leave and we are now looking for her replacer during the leave.
This is only a substitute during the time that the current controller is on parental leave
As a business controller, you are responsible for consolidating, analyzing and presenting relevant decision-making material for managers in the organization. Logistic centre is heavy on investment and personnel so a large part of the work will focus on these topics.
You will work at the interface between finance and logistics and production. The position involves many contact points with employees in logistics, production and finance. You will also be part of the Logistics controlling community with colleagues in Sweden, The Netherlands and Brazil.
The controlling have been developed latest years and are quite mature which serves as a good foundation for Finance 2025 and the implementation of an new ERP system, SAP. You will be a part of the implementation process for the years to come.
Main tasks and responsibilities:
• Responsible for the forecasting and investment process
• Financial statement, reporting and analysis of outcomes
• KPI reporting and Business analysis
• Manage and follow up calculations
• Actively prepare and present decision documents for process owners and decision makers in logistics
• Participate in project work and handle ad hoc questions
From an overall view, the controller shall take active part in strategic discussions and improvement work as well as being a driving force for continuous improvements in the business.
As Business Controller, you are a part of the management team of OL and are responsible for supporting management with analyzes, calculations and follow-up.
You have an education in Economics and Business Administration or in Industrial engineering with probably several years relevant work experience. To fully succeed in this role, you should be an outgoing and communicative person capable of working at a high pace and enjoying having many contacts. As a person, you are careful and master the details of follow-up and analysis while being analytical and capable of holistic thinking.
