We are now recruiting a Business Controller supporting our Supply Chain organization.
Duties
As a business controller for Supply Chain you collaborate with colleagues both in operations and in finance. You will be a key member of the Supply Chain management team while at the same time playing an important role in the wider Group controlling team to secure that supply chain initiatives are translating into tangible savings in the P&L and cash flow statement.
You will Influence and develop the Supply Chain organization and regional operations with a financial and supply chain perspective. Also, you will lead and support business projects (including developing business cases and project plans), adding financial and supply chain perspective (e.g. distribution channels, production footprints etc.).
We also expect you to further develop the existing operational KPI structure to enable common definitions and lead forum with business units for tracking of operational key performance indicators. You will help to develop supply chain and product cost principles for improved control, drive and visibility.
Another task will be to support Indirect Purchasing to drive vendor consolidation within indirect spend and support indirect material project on global basis. As a business controller you will drive budget, forecast and monthly cost analysis process for Supply chain organization and be responsible for controlling the logistics spend, direct material costs and productivity improvement from LEAN and automation initiatives.
Qualifications
We believe that you have a university degree in finance and/or industrial engineering and
- Five or more years of operational finance or management consultant experience
- Preferable, experience from supply chain from large multinational company
- Preferable, experience from leading and/or supporting global supply chain projects
You are fluent in English and you possess drive and ambition. We believe you are creative, have good social skills and you thrive when taking on new and challenging tasks. Also you have analytical and problem-solving skills, including a demonstrated ability to interpret, communicate/present findings, and make recommendations.
