PURPOSE OF THE ROLE
As a Business Controller Supply Chain, you will be part of the controlling team within Supply Chain & Sourcing with focus on primarily all elements in connection to Cost-To-Serve (Warehousing, Outbound Transport and general logistic overheads). Main purpose is to drive efficiency in logistics by providing structured and transparent financial and operational analysis and reports. The role is placed at the Paulig office in Mölndal, Gothenburg and your report to the Director of Business Control Supply Chain & Sourcing in Belgium.

YOUR MAIN TASKS

• Support and challenge the logistic organization/community and create overall understanding between financials and behavior
• Drive methodology how to charge/allocate in a common way the logistics costs to SKU/customers/BA’s. At the same time validate and understand the drivers and be responsible for developing the process and systems
• Provide accurate and timely business analysis and monthly follow-up, reports for logistics including warehousing and customer service
• Ensure reliable and accurate financial plans, forecasts and input towards material in relation to logistic costs
• Support and challenge logistics in capex process in order to optimize the rate of investment and to realize the overall strategy
• Actively be involved with IBP together with manufacturing controllers to minimize obsolete cost and identify risk on time
• Be business partner to logistic managers
• Actively contribute from a sound finance and business partner perspective to support programs like logistic excellence, re-routing impact of route to market

YOUR PROFILE
We are looking for a self-driven, business-minded person with talent for handling, structuring and analyzing data, preferably with 5 years of experience from Business Controlling related to Supply Chain (Sourcing/Purchasing, Supply Planning and Logistics). It is essential that you are structured, with a proven ability to drive change/improvements and to finalizing started activities. You need to have the ability to connect with people and to explain complex matters in an understandable way to trigger activities.

You will have worked with ERP systems and BI Systems and is comfortable working with large volumes of data. You will also have advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint as well as being fluent in English. To succeed in the role as Business Controller, you must be an independent person with strategic skills and the ability to see the big picture. It is crucial that you are driven and have the ability to take actions and own initiatives. The successful candidate will also be business smart and committed to see started activities through till the end. Further on it is essential to have good communication skills and be responsive towards colleagues, managers and business partners.
