The H&M Group operates more than 5000 stores in 70 countries with 8 different group brands. We continue to expand worldwide, as one of the largest fashion companies in the world.
The Group Expansion function supports in adding Meaningful Growth. We are responsible, in partnership with our brands, for all aspects of creating and maintaining our Group’s Real Estate Portfolio; we lease, design, draw, buy, build and maintain each store and constantly follow up on the existing portfolio to ensure high profitability. Each year, we add stores in new and existing markets and optimize the current portfolio through rebuilds, extensions, renegotiations, relocations and consolidations.
Job Description
In the Business Controller role, you will be responsible for different kinds of analyses and take business-minded decisions and implement actions based on your analyses. You will support the execution of the controlling strategies and processes set together with the departments. You have a multi-dimensional stakeholder group and can support one or several functions in parallel based on business needs.
As a Business Controller within the Group Expansion Controlling team Purchase & Financial Control, you are a key player in supporting the functions Construction & Facilities, NCG Development & Procurement and Store Design to succeed by providing world-class controlling support. Given that Controlling at Group Expansion is a multi-brand organization, this also means that your responsibilities will cover all brands within the H&M Group.
Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Supporting with analysis and guidance for strategic and operational decisions, change management initiatives and operational matters
Developing strategy and driving profitable Growth
Following up, analyzing and optimizing costs and quality within the departments
Completing trend analysis, forecasting and reporting
Creating business cases, validate and enhance business ideas
Initiating ad-hoc analysis and forecasting
Taking action on your analysis and communicating effectively to your team and other stakeholders
Qualifications
To be successful in this role, we foresee that you have:
An academic degree in business or engineering
Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn your analysis into actions, together with your team
Strong communication skills and a fondness for playing in a team
Advanced skills in Excel and Powerpoint
Fluency in English; Swedish is not mandatory
A curious mind and a passion for learning new things

Additional Information
This is a fulltime assignment, starting as soon as possible and will be based in Stockholm.
