Group Expansion is the growth engine of the H&M Group, responsible for all aspects of optimizing the H&M Group’s Physical and Digital sales network as well as driving meaningful growth in both channels. We drive growth both in existing and new markets, through marketplaces, .com, and physical stores. We are on a growth journey, with a goal of doubling our Group sales from now until 2030, while at the same time halving our carbon footprint, and maintaining double digit profitability.
The Omnichannel portfolio controlling team forms a key part of the Controlling function within Group Expansion.
The team is responsible for strategic and financial controlling support to Group Expansion, with a focus on developing, maintaining, and growing our business omnichannel. We support all brands within the H&M Group, often on project basis, with focus on being a close strategic partner in a cross-functional environment.
We are now looking for a Business Controller to join the team. As Business Controller in the Omnichannel portfolio controlling team you will play a key role in generating insights, lead different kinds of analyses, and be part of both improving our current business and supporting growth initiatives both organic and inorganic. You’ll have a global scope, a multi-dimensional stakeholder group, and can support one or several functions in parallel based on business needs. You will get the chance to be part of a fantastic journey working both cross functionally supporting different parts of Group Expansion as well as our brands and regions.
In this role, you will:
Collect and synchronize different perspectives to support strategic decisions, change management initiatives and operational matters
Analyze and evaluate the Group’s Omnichannel Portfolio’s performance versus short- and long-term goals
Complete trend analysis, forecasting and reporting
Create business cases, validate, and enhance business ideas
Lead analysis projects, translate your findings into actionable insights, and communicate these effectively to senior stakeholders
Review market and industry trends to steer departments future focuses
Be a strong and close support to our regional, market, and brand teams
To be successful in this role, we see that you have:
An academic degree in business or engineering
A least 3 years of experience as a Business Controller, Business Analyst, or similar roles
Strong analytical skills and the ability to turn your analysis into actions
Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint with hands on experience from writing queries to extract, clean, structure, and analyze large sets of data; strong Power BI and SQL skills are highly advantageous
Strong communication skills and experience in visualizing and presenting analysis and insights to a senior and diverse stakeholder group
Fluency in English; Swedish is not mandatory

Additional Information
This is a full-time assignment based in Stockholm, and you will report to the Head of Controlling for Omnichannel Portfolio.
