We are now posting two positions as:

Business Controller Warranty

The mission of the Business Controller Warranty position is to provide business control and analytical support for all financial issues related to Contractual warranty, Campaign management and Technical Goodwill. It also includes providing proactive, efficient and effective controlling in the form of performance analysis, risk assessments, identification of corrective actions and active project support. This work is done in close collaboration with relevant stakeholders and the notions of Support, Challenge and Control are present in the daily work.

The position reports to the Manager Warranty Controlling Volvo Trucks

Main activities and responsibilities
In this role
•You will be responsible to manage the warranty provisions and warranty surcharge models and analysis within Volvo Trucks. This includes follow-up of warranty payments, analysis, statistical calculations as well as booking and reporting.
•Performance follow-up and controlling support in the warranty control area.
•Follow-up on warranty expenses
•Warranty cost analysis
•Booking and reporting of warranty variance
•Forecast warranty variance
•Risk management
•Support in the global harmonization of warranty cost models and processes
•Support on warranty cost improvement work
•Ad-hoc analysis

Who are you / qualifications?
This role requires proven experience within the Financial Reporting and/or Business Control areas. Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to network effectively with concerned stakeholders are key requirements. You have a degree in Business Administration or similar and minimum 5 years of related experience. Experience from warranty controlling is considered an advantage.
•Good knowledge from sales and aftersales processes for Trucks
•Structured with great analytical skills
•Strong experience in accounting and business control.
•Experience from SAP R/3 and excel
•Excellent communication skills
•Customer and business oriented mind-set
•High proficiency in written and spoken English

This position is based in Gothenburg, Sweden.
