Product Group Parts Distribution and Logistics (PDL) in Alfa Laval has the main responsibility of sourcing and supplying spare parts to our Sales companies and end-customers through our Distribution Centres around the world. We process more than 1 million order lines per year, and we are constantly working to improve our services.   

 

About the job 

The main purpose of a Business Controller is to oversee the financial performance and operations of PDL. As Business Controller you are a key business partner in the PDL management team. Your main responsibilities include:  

·        Member of the PDL management team, acting as a true business partner in all areas  

·        Be the central driver of month-end, forecast and costing processes 

·        Secure performance development for all sites within PDL 

·        Participate in various projects related to supply chain optimization 

·        Drive the development of performance management in collaboration with your business control colleagues in PDL and Operations. 

 

This position is based in Lund and reports to VP Operations, Head of PDL, with a dotted line to the Business Controller in Operations. As this is a central role, you should anticipate international travels to our sites within Europe, Asia and the USA. 

 

What you know 

We are looking for a Business Controller with good strategic understanding of and experience from working in management teams and supporting business decisions. As our business is all about flows, we are looking for someone who has experience from supply chain and/or manufacturing.  

 

You have minimum 5 years’ experience of controller work in an international environment and good skills in cross-cultural relations. You have a university degree in Finance and/or Business Administration and are fluent in spoken and written English.
