Scania Supply Chain Networks, OI, is a function within Global Logistics. Our ambition is to become the leader within sustainable logistics and our mission is to globally develop, manage and optimize our logistical flows by building flows with minimal environmental impact, high quality and minimal total logistic cost.
We are responsible for planning and optimizing the inbound and packaging transportation network for northern Europe. The work is truly cross functional and we have a close cooperation with our colleagues in the central Europe and in Latin America as well as with purchasing and the production units.
A part from being a key player creating an efficient supply chain we also have the global responsibility to drive the shift towards a sustainable and data driven transport network.
As a Business Controller you will play an important role in enabling this journey in a cost efficient way.
Our present Business Controller is taking up new challenges within Logistics why we are looking for an experienced and motivated Business Controller to join our management team.
As a Business Controller at Supply Chain Networks you are responsible for the financial processes at our department which means:
• Be responsible for budgeting, forecasting, book closure and reporting
• Continuously improve and optimize the financial processes
• Support with analysis and guidance for strategic decisions
• Undertake analysis and investigations which contribute to our efficiency
In this role you will be a part of a strong financial network spanning from global Logistics to other functions within the company, both in Sweden and globally.
Your profile
You have an education in Economics and Business Administration or in Industrial Engineering with probably several years relevant work experience. To fully succeed in this role, you should be an outgoing and communicative person capable of working at a high pace and enjoying having many contacts. As a person, you are careful and master the details of follow-up and analysis while being analytical and capable of holistic thinking.
You will report to the Head of Supply Chain Networks.
