The main responsibility of the Business Controller is to create and drive an active dialogue with managers and other employees in financial understanding, performance, and profitability. This is achieved by actively challenging existing ways of working, identifying improvement opportunities, and pro-actively setting and following up targets.
• Business partnering in financial matters - Be a proactive business partner to support the business in understanding the financial figures and financial model.
• Monitor financial performance - Be responsible for business performance monitoring and control.
• Development of processes and internal control - Monitoring policies, design steering models, and establishing standards.
• Improvement work according to the Scania Way - Understand and act according to the Scania Way framework.
Are we a match?
To succeed in the role as Business Controller at Scania, we believe that you have at least a few years of working experience in a similar position and fluent skills in English, while Swedish is seen as meritorious. As a person, you have an open mind, great communication skills, seize opportunities that arise, and above all - excellent analyzing abilities as well as a big interest in financial understanding, performance, and profitability.
