Oceanbird is a newly formed company by Alfa Laval and Wallenius with the ambition to transform the shipping industry to truly sustainable shipping with wind solutions. Now we are in an exciting phase of building up the company, develop the technology and setting up the business model for future sales.

To do this we are looking for the best people with passion for what they do and sustainable shipping.

 

About the job 

Since everything is new we now start building up our sales department to ensure we have right offerings, way to market, sale tools and much more. You will play a vital role in developing the company moving forward and you be a part of the Management Team reporting to the Managing Director.
Important for the job is to work closely with our technical team to fully understand both the products as well as the market needs.

 

AlfaWall Oceanbird aims at becoming the market leading provider of wind propulsion solution to the shipping industry and thereby prevent contribution to climate change and other harmful emissions from shipping.

 

AlfaWall Oceanbird AB is a 50/50 joint venture, owned by Alfa Laval and Wallenius but operated as an independent company. We are now building up the team, with highly skilled, motivated and passionate people, that will form the core of this company.

You are: 

·     A person with strong background in the marine industry

·     Strong strategy skills

·     Documented commercial experience

·     Strong team player

·     Curious and creative mindset 

·     Good networking skills

·     Communicative both orally and in writing 

·     You are self-going and self-motivated
