We are now in the process of strengthening our team in the Nordics and are therefore looking for a charismatic, success-driven Business Developer to lift our fantastic Identity service organization to the next level. You will join our team, working from a bright and modern HQ in Telefonplan, Stockholm.
What will you be doing at Nexus
As Business Developer, you are responsible for strengthening our offering around Digital identities and Physical security, sustaining current market shares as well as winning new ones, by building a solid go-to market strategy and finding new innovative collaborations with partners. You report directly to our VP of Identity Services, acting as a strategic advisor with a mission to create new business and making Nexus stand out from the crowd.
You focus a lot on market-readiness and the competitiveness of our services, collaborating with Sales, Engineering, Production and Customer Success. At the end of the day a lot of it boils down to market readiness, revenue, and customer satisfaction and you are acting as a key-link between external stakeholders and internal resources.
You will:
- Work close together with our Product Owners to translate customer requirements into solutions, identifying both problems and opportunities and finding innovative and effective approaches for our customers
- Drive our business with key partners with high business potential, as well as exploring and identifying new long-term and expandable partner collaborations
- Identify strategic leads and build a pipeline to set the direction for upcoming customer projects together with the associated sales team
- Help to resolve any issues and problems, dealing directly with costumer complaints to maintain trust
- Represent Nexus at public or dedicated events (fairs, congress)
About you
Due to the complex nature of our portfolio, we think it’s important that you have at least 5 years of experience working within high-tech or with complex IT-solutions. Ideally you have several years of experiences from the security business or from the physical access area. Good knowledge of industry standards, such as ISO is beneficial. You have previously worked at least 5 with sales, marketing, or business development, preferably with large enterprises.
You firmly believe that cooperation and teamwork is the way to success and enjoy coaching others and sharing your insight. You are very social, driven and curious and you understand and respect the nuances of the craftsmanship that is business development.
You don’t need to be a technical expert, but a strong interest in tech is a must to succeed in this role. A degree from higher education is considered a plus.
You take pride in your listening skills but are not afraid to voice your mind and to give sound advice to costumers and colleagues. In addition, you are not afraid of negations and have a strong problem-solving mindset.
Being unhindered in Swedish (written and spoken) is a must-have for this role. Also, being a global company and with a plan to grow in Central Europe in the future, fluent English is mandatory as well. A B-driving license is a requirement.
