Sales at Techno is not about ‘selling CVs’, keeping utilization above 96%, or stressing about that sales objective. That's not how we do it around here. At Techno long-term customer value-add always supersedes sales numbers.
As Business Developer your role is to connect with people, listen to their business problems, and be curious about their next steps. We are looking for a rainmaker when it comes to opening doors for our in-house team of whiz kids (no pressure :))
About the job
We're using a mix of business acumen, honesty, design thinking, informality, and world-class development skills. Our in-house team helps companies accelerate their digital transformation, improve their innovation efforts, and solve complex digital problems.
Your role, as a Business Developer, in that mix of activities, is to knock on doors, mingle at events, use your network, and raise awareness of what Techno is, how we differ, and how we add value. You love complex sales challenges, solving real problems, and are able to engage in discussions around, for example, how the traditional consulting business model is flawed :). You will have the freedom to do it your way, and with your personal touch, but with a focus on finding true win-win partnerships for our future clients.
But, you are never alone - the whole Techno team with its huge variety of skills and passions always has your back.
This position is onsite in Gothenburg, Sweden, with the ability to travel where you find it necessary to be.
Responsibilities
Let's keep it simple, shall we? We need you, a sales superstar to:
- Identify sales opportunities, find new clients, and create the connection by acting on them
- Raise the general awareness of The Techno Creatives and how we add value to the businesses we work with
- Bring relevant parties from potential clients and the Techno team to the table to understand their problems and align on the next best action
About you and the value you bring
- You need to be a self-starter and set your own priorities, strategies, and tactics within the sales area. For this, we think you need 5+ years of relevant work in B2B sales, business development, or as an entrepreneur running your own business. Don't have that? You’re welcome to prove us wrong :)
- Personality, listening skills, and great business acumen are must-have skills to be able to represent The Techno brand and create trust with future clients.
- Interest in technology and design, allowing you to discuss approaches and solutions seamlessly with clients and colleagues
- You need grit. Since we do things quite differently from the norm, there will be a lot of No’s and closed doors initially.
- Fluent in Swedish and English language
- Ability to travel daytime approximately every second week.
