With 300 employees, some would consider us a smaller company, but we are proud that we protect the workforce and IoT solutions for world- class customers, counting several fortune 500 companies amongst our long-time clients. 

We are now in the process of strengthening our sales team in the Nordics and are therefore looking for a charismatic, success-driven Business Developer, also acting as our Head of Sales (Sweden) to lift our fantastic sales team to the next level. You will join our HQ at Telefonplan, in the south of Stockholm. 


What will you be doing at Nexus  

As Business Developer, you will be responsible for strengthening our offering around identity solutions and win market shares. You will also help and coach your associated sales team to grow existing relations with key customers and partners as well as develop and search for new opportunities and business relations.

In your role you accept being responsible for the market-readiness and competitiveness of our services, in strong collaboration with Sales, Engineering, Production and Customer Service, and for the sales budget. You will act as a link between external stakeholders and internal resources, helping to resolve any issues and problems, dealing with complaints to maintain trust.

You will be reporting directly to our VP of Identity Services, acting as a strategic advisor for the future development and go-to-market strategy, mainly inside the Nordics, but at times also spreading your knowledge across our other locations and target regions in Central Europe and Asia.

As you can see, this is a broad role, but at the end of the day a lot of it comes down to market readiness, revenue, and customer satisfaction. We are growing organically and strategically, and you will be a key player in that journey.



About you

Due to the complex nature of our portfolio, we think it’s important that you are an experienced salesperson from a high-tech industry. Ideally you have previous experiences from the security industry or from the physical access area. Good knowledge of industry standards, such as ISO would be beneficial. You have worked at least five years in sales, preferably with large enterprises.

You enjoy working with a small team and you firmly believe that cooperation and teamwork is the way to success. To thrive in this role, we believe you have several years of leader experience and are willing to develop yourself and grow with Nexus.

You are driven and curious and you understand the dynamics of the craftsmanship that is sales. Even though you don’t need to be a technical expert, a strong interest in tech is a must to succeed in this role. A degree from higher education is considered a plus.

You take pride in your listening skills but are not afraid to voice your mind and to give sound advice to the customer, according to your expertise. In addition, you are not afraid of client negations and have a strong problem-solving mindset.

As mentioned above, a big market will be the Nordics and Sweden in particular, therefore unhindered Swedish (written and spoken) is a must-have. Also, being a global company and with a plan to grow in Central Europe in the future, fluent English is mandatory as well. A B-driving license is a requirement.
