Production Control within Scania are responsible for central planning and production for all of our products.
As a Business Developer within Production Control, you will be a key player when it comes to shaping the future of Scania’s logistics strategy. We offer a job in an international environment with multiple contact surfaces, both internally and externally. Logistics has impact on almost all of Scania’s core processes including R&D, purchasing, sales & marketing, production & logistics and cross-brand cooperation within the Traton group.
As Business Developer you are part of a team of motivated and curious developers which work to find the best alternatives to solve the challenges of Central Planning, Global Production Structure and Production Ordering as well as enable Scania Logistics to meet current and future business strategies and customer needs.
Your work assignment
You will challenge and improve the current way of working by developing and implementing new processes, systems, tools and methods. In this you will provide knowledge and support to the organization to develop the future processes, systems, tools and methods where you will manage and participate in projects, in an agile way with a complex context considering both outside-in and inside-out perspectives.
Simply put, you will make the 2025 strategy happen within the logistics!
Your profile
We are looking for a process developer candidate with great interest in Supply Chain business development who is service minded, eager to solve problems and have a passion for improving the world around you. You are creative and innovative. You have good communicative skills and good in maintaining continuous, open and consistent communication and cooperation cross-functionally. You are confident and adaptable to cooperate in a multi-cultural environment with people from different backgrounds.
• Experience and/or knowledge within Logistics, in special the Order to Delivery correlated processes and the Planning functional areas
• Academic degree (probably a master of science within Engineering or Logistics)
• Skills in designing and crafting solutions with Analytics and Automation platforms will be considered as an advantage
• Ability to engage effectively with software and process developers and co-work in an Agile setup
• Competence in lean, problem solving, process engineering and project management skills
• Ability to fluently communicate in English, both written and spoken, Swedish in a basic level.
