Business Developer – Biometric enterprise security is an influential and customer-facing role, on the assignment to define the new biometric enterprise security solution and build credibility for such with key potential clients.
As a Business Developer – Biometric enterprise security, you will leverage your technical knowledge to evaluate and manage new strategic business opportunities and initiatives. You will build up an understanding of the clients’ requirements, identify and design solution, drive opportunity pipelines, and develop winning opportunity proposals to drive long term business objectives.
Additionally, you will oversee market analysis, monitor competitive activity, and identifies customer needs. You will provide leadership in the planning, designing, and implementing of strategic business objectives and help define the vision, strategies, and tactics.
This role is an Individual Contributor who will use strong influencing skills with a mix of business development, technical expertise, and business acumen to partner with Sales, Development team, Service team and Operations to evaluate and propose technical solutions, and aid in the development of the long-term business model.
Responsibility:
Development of the new company segment for biometric security solution toward enterprise clients.
Define the go-to-market-strategy.
Responsibility for the development of a convincing solution strategy regarding current, intermediate, and future mode of operations.
Overall management of customer requirements and traceability to the solution
Overall responsibility for the definition and management of solution risks, including impact on cost model and transition or transformation plans
Communication at the C-level as well as technical manager with the customer for solution related topics
Creation of customer presentations for solution related topics
Qualifications
5+ years of working experience in biometric security industry or related high-tech industry. Experience should include a technical business-related role (e.g. technical sales, technical marketing, technical business development, etc.)
Experience of working in solution sales
Fluent in English communication
Must be willing to travel (~10%)
Experience with crafting business term sheets and contractual agreements is a plus
Education
Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
