Who are we? 
The Charging & Energy Management team is organised within the unit Advanced Technology & Sustainability. We are responsible for accelerating the shift towards a fully electric and sustainable future by bringing new mobility offers and services to our consumers, from strategy definition to offer launch. We are also responsible for adding new business with the objective to improve sustainability, expand our current scope and support our growth.

What you’ll do
We are looking for a Business Developer, who will actively support our Charging Strategy and contribute to our Products & Offers growth across our different focus areas.
Charging is one of our key business verticals. It covers all charging use cases – i.e., home charging, public charging, charging at work, all sales channels – online & retail, B2C & B2B as well as all regions and markets. 
You will be part of a Global team developing new product & offer strategy, defining corresponding roadmaps and launching innovative and premium services and solutions to end customers. 
In short, the Charging teams’ purpose is to provide seamless access to an open, market leading charging ecosystem and deliver best in class UX across the consumer touchpoints (In Car, on Mobile App, on volvocars.com, at Retail environment).
For Volvo to succeed, we will engage in many different projects, be it pilots or launching of consumer products developed inhouse or with partners. You will lead some of our projects and support in others. We also need to constantly have an accurate picture of the business potential in different markets. You will lead analysis and business case activities. You will act in the intersection of user experience, technology, and business. You will be part of a cross-functional team and work very close with the product managers. You will have a global mindset and take initiatives in different markets.

You and your skills  
The candidate should preferably have:
•    Experience from working within charging
•    Business acumen and understanding for the ongoing transformation towards electrification
•    Demonstrated success in a matrix, multi-cultural, international environment
•    Curiosity and willingness to learn about market dynamics and technology involved in charging 
•    Education in either engineering. business or equivalent, but with a mindset and interest that cover both areas. 
•    Excellent communication skills and strong teamwork spirit  
•    Problem solving and analytical skills
•    Strong drive and ‘can-do’ mentality
•    Customer centric
