Introduction In the Sandvik Group, purchasing operations are an integral part of the regular business processes within all business areas.The overall objective of the purchasing activity is to optimise profitability in each business area, as well as to utilize synergies between business areas whenever possible.The Executive Purchasing Council (EPC) has a strategic responsibility for developing and monitoring purchasing operations.We are now looking for a person to develop, coordinate and take an active part in the EPC work. Key performance areas In the position as Business Development Corporate Purchasing you will report directly to EPC and have responsibility to develop and own common areas such as: .Sandvik categorization model..Sandvik global agreements database..Corporate spend solution and other tools..Purchasing guidelines and policies..Competence development..Communication and information (intranet, newsletter etc). You will assist the EPC, control and support resources for National Purchasing Councils.National Purchasing Councils (NPC) have the responsibility for optimizing joint Group sourcing in the respective country, for common products/services. Your profile .Documented experience within strategic purchasing..Relevant university degree..Good leadership skills, with the ability to lead, motivate and coach teams..Fluency in English (verbal and written) is essential..Documented project management experience.
