Business Developer - C&S Nordics

The mission for decentral energy solutions, DES is to provide value to our customers, by offering decentral solutions in terms of solar energy systems and home storage solutions– i.e. clean, distributed, and renewable energy – which is our contribution to the Vattenfall purpose enabling fossil-free living within one generation.
As a Business Developer within BA C&S Nordics you will develop the DES business together with our Team. Apart from running various projects and dealing with ad hoc assignments of various subject/scope which all of us do, special focus for you would be within the area of:
-Launch of new solutions to customers
-Be the link from Product Development to Market launch i.e. enable market launch after the pilot has been evaluated. This includes working together with Prod dev with “design thinking” involving customers and -their feedback but also ensuring a sellable, billable product supported by an adequate infrastructure
-Participate in developing a well functioning Product Management
-Business development and improvements
-Be responsible for running projects such as evaluation and testing of new partners, new WoW.etc.
All of the above usually includes IT development i.e. working closely with our DevOps team

• The ‘’get things done’’-mentality, ability and courage to work with topics of both strategic as well as operational nature
• True team spirit – supporting and sparring with each other within the team is not only needed but essential for success
• The ability to work in large and complex organizations and to handle internal and external interfaces effectively
We also think that driving change in collaboration with different stakeholders and partners requires flexibility, thinking out of the box and an ability to stay calm when needed.

Your qualifications
• Academic degree in engineering and/or 5-10 years relevant working experience
• Experience from working with business/product development and managing projects (agile experience is a bonus)
• Analytical mindset
• Passion and insight in the Energy business
• Good understanding of the business logics in various business segments
• Process management experience and knowledge
• Experience from working with IT demands i.e. translate demands from vision/customer journey/processes to concrete actions for IT to develop
• Good understanding of the opportunities in the rapidly emerging digital area
• Fluent in English verbally and in writing – knowledge of Finnish is a plus
